BRA Properties LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates RangeReport™ (rangereport.golf). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our golf analytics platform.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store passwords directly — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Golf Performance Data

When you use the RangeReport Chrome extension or sync your data, we collect your Trackman Golf performance data including: shot measurements (ball speed, carry distance, spin rate, launch angle, club path, face angle, and other telemetry), round scores, course information, hole-by-hole statistics, and club usage data.

Authentication Tokens

The Chrome extension captures your Trackman authentication tokens to enable data synchronization. These tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored on our servers and are used solely to access your Trackman data on your behalf.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, and the dates and times of your visits.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide golf analytics dashboards and statistics
• Generate AI-powered coaching insights, practice plans, and pattern alerts
• Produce club fitting analysis and recommendations
• Create shareable report cards
• Synchronize your Trackman data automatically
• Send you service-related notifications
• Improve and develop new features for the platform
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

• AES-256-GCM encryption for all authentication tokens
• Separate initialization vectors (IVs) for each encrypted value
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Authentication required for all API endpoints accessing user data
• Clerk-managed authentication with industry-standard security practices

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Clerk — Authentication and user management. See Clerk's Privacy Policy.
• Trackman Golf — Source of golf performance data, accessed via your authorized tokens.
• AI Providers — We use third-party AI models to generate coaching insights. Your golf data may be sent to these providers for analysis. We do not share your personally identifiable information with AI providers — only anonymized performance data.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your golf performance data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except for aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you individually, which we may retain for service improvement purposes. Authentication tokens are immediately invalidated upon disconnection or account deletion.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through our dashboard and CSV export features
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect your Trackman token at any time
• Uninstall the Chrome extension to stop data collection

7. Cookies

RangeReport uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management (provided by Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we only use strictly necessary cookies.

8. Shareable Report Cards

If you generate a shareable report card, a subset of your golf statistics (handicap, scoring averages, strokes gained, top clubs, best round) will be accessible via a unique URL without authentication. This is an opt-in feature and you can revoke access at any time by regenerating your share token.

9. Children's Privacy

RangeReport is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
